[…] Some of the beasties we have seen whilst in Australia can be seen here and here. […]

Are the devils wild? (apart from looking pretty angry)

What kind of wallaby? Dear dear the scientific value of this site is pretty shocking at times.

says the man who has just put every pic he has of animals on his travels down under onto a site and has labelled everyone. Sometimes I do wonder if child rearing is really that difficult if you have all that time on your hands?

She does go to bed at some point. Standards must be maintained.

Looking much better after you recent haircut Chris - Well done Fiona!

Thanks Lynne - as Lachlan points out standards must be maintained.
Chris and I did discuss what species of Wallaby it was, but couldn’t quite remember -think it might be a Bennett’s Wallaby - hope that satisifies your thirst for scientific naming. We have also seen swamp wallabies, and ermm bush wallabies, and Grey Kangaroos…

Oh, and unfortunately the devils weren’t wild, although I think some of them were caught from the wild, to save them from devil facial tumour disease - something which is killing the population and might see them extinct in ten years… all a bit sad really.
