The adventures of Fe & Chris

Pygmy Elephants

Whilst lying in our tent at Base Camp this morning, enjoying the nearby yelping of Emerald Toucanets, Fe enthusiastically proclaimed “I want to see Pygmy Elephants!” this was followed by an only marginally less confident “Do they exist?”.

We’ve been together for three and a half years today. We might celebrate with half a can each of illicit Salva Vida and a chocolate biscuit!

I would like to confirm that pygmy elephants are not a figment of my imagination and do indeed exist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pygmy_elephant). In fact I’m sure I’ve heard about some project to do with them recently. You never know I might even get to see one when we go to Borneo!

Excellent news on the 30672 days.Do not over do it in the celebrations as hang overs in hot, humid places are even less fun than normal. I would advise that you just eat half the chocolate biscuit Chris or you’ll be ill for days.

I do like the fact that the “who’s left a comment section” it has been saying “graeme on a pygmy elephant” thus proving they exist!
